My Story
Hi! You're here because you wanna know why I joined Scentsy, right? Bottom line: I was bored. -shrug- LOL - Literally. In the middle of a pandemic and my real job as being a flight attendant is on hold. So, what else do I have but time to try new things, right?! Ha!
Okay, here's the long version and why I'm currently still doing it (3 months later)..
Back in July 2020 my friend hosted a Scentsy party. I had heard about Scentsy, but never tried it. I gave it a shot, bought some wax and thought,"well, this smells amazing!" I decided to host my own party to earn some free stuff (because who doesn't LOVE free stuff?! LOL) and was SO successful with my party that I earned my enrollment kit! We're in the middle of a pandemic, I can't leave my house and my "real job" is on hold at least until October. Along side all of those factors I just learned I could sign up to share Scentsy for absolutely no out of pocket cost at the time?! Heck yeah! Sign me up! Since then I have been sharing the beautiful part of fragrance with my friends, family, and even neighbors (who I never would have met otherwise)!
I wasn't sure if I could or even WANTED to be my own boss, what with all the stress of having inventory (I live in a tiny apartment, that won't work), employees (I'm not the bossy type), or the legal risks (please.. no. Just no. Stress is mess). Scentsy is giving me the opportunity to BE MY OWN BOSS with absolutely NO reason to have ANY of the listed hangups that gave me pause. I invested in myself a little bit and have been loving it ever since!
Every day is a learning experience and every day I am ready!
